Punk Sailor Moon

The vest was modified from a jean jacket, the rest of the outfit was styled based on an original design. For the vest, the sleeves were cut off a jean jacket and the edges of the seams were distressed. Luna, Sailor Moon’s cat companion, was painted on to the back of the vest. Patches were both ironed, then hand sewn on for added structural integrity. Flat studs, cone studs, pins, and buttons were added to continue to reinforce the character. The wig was styled by braiding the two long pigtails of the wig and wrapping them around the buns.
