Banjo Kazooie

This cosplay was designed based on the titular characters of the Nintendo 64 game Banjo Kazooie. The felt plush of Kazooie - the bird - was made from a hand drafted pattern, mocked up in a photo editor, then hand sewn and embroidered before being stuffed. The ears were hand sewn from a self-made pattern, then sewn and glued to a headband wrapped with brown ribbon. The necklace was hand sculpted and painted. The shirt was purchased and the stomach pattern was painted on. The feet were created by affixing upholstery foam to a pair of slip on shoes and sculpting them to the correct shape, then gluing fabric to the feet. The claws were hand sculpted and affixed to the feet. The upper of the feet was hand sewn to the shoe with a velcro strip added for a closure. The large golden puzzle piece was created using cardboard and papier-mâché, then sanded, painted, and sealed.
